Frequently Asked
What is the difference between the SLEEPSAFE Mattress Protector and Bed Bug encasements?
SLEEPSAFE Mattress Protectors are a fitted sheet and do not enclose the mattress on all 6 sides. Our protectors are not bed bug proof, but offer the ability to be easily taken on and off and are waterproof on top. SLEEPSAFE bed bug encasements surround the mattress on all 6-sides and are sealed off with a bed bug proof zipper.
Do I really need pillow protectors?
Pillow encasements protect your pillows dust mites, fluids and allergy triggers, which can build up over time impacting the air we breathe. We like to add that SLEEPSAFE Pillow Protectors are especially helpful for those who suffer from allergy and asthma triggers.
What should I look for in mattress protector?
A good mattress protector should be as thin, machine washable, non-vinyl, breathable, offer a dust mite proof surface material and not change the feel of your mattress. Our protectors offer all of these features. There are various types of protectors sold in the market which are quilted and are sold as additional comfort – but they not only expensive but do not provide the protection against dustmites, faster drying & easy handling. They also have a much lesser life and need quicker replacement as the layers are stitched and not laminated like SLEEPSAFE Protectors.
Are SLEEPSAFE mattress protectors good for those with allergies or asthma?
SLEEPSAFE mattress protectors are hypoallergenic and prevent dust mites and allergens from passing through the breathable membrane material making them excellent for those suffering from allergy and asthma triggers. This is recommended by all Chest Physicians across the globe.
My mattress is only 9”. Will your protector fit nicely?
Although our protectors fit up to an 12” mattress, they will also fit smaller depth mattresses. This is due to our elastic band technology, which pulls excess material under the mattress making for a perfect fit on most mattress depths above 6”.
